Diablo 3 has officially been announced by Blizzard and it’s going to be more true to it’s roots as opposed to turning into a World of Diablo type game. Here’s an abbreviated list of features we know at this point:

- Action RPG
- 9 skills on action bar - still uses left and right mouse clicks, but you can scroll through with tab or wheel
- health and mana orbs
- isometric
- barbarian is back - with physics, ghouls falling of bridge
- health power ups
- destructible environments - kills enemies
- tons of particle effects
- deckard kain, tyrael
- new class: witch doctor
- pets - mongrel, voodoo, locust swarm, mass confuse, zombie wall
- female class versions
- mentioned battle.net, and creating groups using battle.net
